Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. The actor began his career playing roles in television shows, like Opposite sex in 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Alongside his character in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. The Marvel films made him one of Hollywood's most well-paid actors.
