Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is an Spanish Pop/Flamenco performer. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she has also delved into different music genres like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice has been called by no less of a talent than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami is her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to have won the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
